The UK's Top Motocycling Attractions 2026
The UK’s Top Motorcycling Attractions
As one of the UK’s leading insurers of motorcycles and classic bikes, Grove & Dean works with riders who own everything from a single commuter to collections of 2, 3 or more bikes. That’s why we will soon be introducing multi-bike insurance cover, designed to make life simpler for riders with more than one machine.
It’s cold and icy out there now, so we thought we’d take a moment to look ahead to 2026 and to some of the motorcycling events and attractions to plan for in the year ahead.
Motorcycle Museums
National Motorcycle Museum
Described as the heart of British motorcycle heritage. The museum houses over 1,000 motorcycles from more than 170 manufacturers, with around 850 machines on public display across five large halls. It covers early pioneers through to superbikes and factory racers. A must-visit for anyone serious about British motorcycling history and conveniently located near the NEC.

Sammy Miller Motorcycle Museum
Founded by twelve-time British Trials Champion Sammy Miller, this museum is home to around 500 rare and exotic motorcycles from across the world. Many are unique factory machines or historically important racers. Its New Forest setting also makes it a strong riding destination once the weather improves.
Norfolk Motorcycle Museum
Highly regarded by classic bike owners. The collection focuses mainly on motorcycles from the 1920s to the 1960s and includes rare machines such as TT Rudges and Brooklands-era bikes. A good excuse to explore Norfolk’s quieter roads at an unhurried pace.

David Silver Honda Collection
A specialist museum for Honda enthusiasts. The collection features well over 200 classic Honda motorcycles, covering early production models through to machines from the early 1990s, displayed across two floors.

Speedway history with added animals!
National Speedway Museum
Located inside Hertfordshire Zoo, (formerly Paradise Wildlife Park) in Broxbourne. The museum celebrates the history of speedway racing from the 1920s to the modern era and is supported by the World Speedway Riders Association. A highlight for 2026 is the Celebration of Speedway in March, where bikes are fired up and displays come alive. Zoo access is included, which makes this a popular family day out.

Major motorcycle shows to plan for 2026
Motorcycle Live
The UK’s largest motorcycle show returns to the NEC from 21st to 29th November 2026. Expect new bike launches, kit and accessory showcases, live action, and manufacturer stands. A traditional end-of-season fixture for many riders.

Classic Bike Show
Held at the South of England Event Centre in October 2026. A favourite with classic owners and restorers, with strong club representation, autojumble stalls, and plenty of opportunity to talk bikes with people who know them inside out.

Racetracks and live motorcycle sport
Donington Park
One of the UK’s most important motorcycle circuits. Donington hosts multiple British Superbike Championship rounds during 2026, including major dates in May and October.
British Superbike Championship UK rounds in 2026 also include circuits such as Oulton Park, Knockhill, Snetterton, Brands Hatch, Thruxton, and Cadwell Park, making it easy to plan race weekends across different parts of the country.

And no biking venues list is complete without...
Ace Cafe London
Not a museum, but a landmark. Regular bike nights and themed meets make the Ace Cafe a living part of UK motorcycle culture and a useful stop when planning London and South East rides.
Multi-bike Cover - Coming Soon!
As we’re aware, many riders visiting these venues own more than one motorcycle. A daily rider, a classic for summer, perhaps a project or track bike.
That’s where Grove & Dean’s new multi-bike insurance cover comes in. One policy. Clear structure. Designed for riders who take their bikes seriously and want straightforward protection for multiple machines.
We’ll be sending more information as soon as the policy is launched but please, get in touch if you’d like more details.
