Setting Your Extra Support Preferences
At Grove & Dean, we want every customer to feel confident and supported when managing their insurance. If you ever need extra support, whether temporarily or on an ongoing basis, you can tell us through your online Insurance Account.
This video guide shows you how to update your additional support preferences, including communication needs, accessibility requirements, or any circumstances that may make managing your policy more difficult. You’ll see how to access the Preferences tab, select one or more support options, and submit your choices.
Once submitted, your preferences are saved straight away. With your consent, we’ll use this information to make reasonable adjustments where possible, such as how we communicate with you, the time we allow for decisions, or how we explain important information, all to help make managing your policy easier and more comfortable.

At Grove & Dean, we want every customer to feel confident and supported when managing their insurance policy. If you ever need extra support, whether temporarily or on an ongoing basis, you can tell us through your online Insurance Account.
You may wish to tell us about your communication needs, accessibility requirements, or situations that may make it harder to manage your policy, such as a language barrier, difficulty managing money, or a temporary health concern, just the details we need to identify the best ways to assist you.
So, here’s how to update your extra-support preferences.
Once you’re logged into your Insurance Account, select the Preferences tab from the menu. Scroll down until you see the section labelled Extra Support. Here, you’ll find a list of support options to choose from. Select any option that applies to you.
You can choose more than one, and you can update these details at any time. After making your selection, click Submit. We’ll then ask for your consent to store and use this information so we can tailor our communication and support to you.
Then, if you're happy to proceed, choose Give Consent. If you’d prefer not to share this information, simply select Cancel, although we won’t be able to provide enhanced support without your permission.
Once submitted, your preferences will be saved to your policy straight away.
Depending on what you tell us, we’ll use this information to make any reasonable adjustments we can, whether that’s how we contact you, the time we give you to make decisions, or how we explain important information, so managing your policy feels easier and more comfortable for you. And, if at any time you’d prefer to talk about your situation, you can contact us directly.
